Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL), the operator of KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit services, participated in the Rail Technology Expo (RTX) 2022, Malaysia's BIGGEST rail technology event of the year from 11 to 14 August 2022 at KL Sentral. The event was officiated by the Minister of Transport Malaysia, YB Datuk Seri Ir. Dr. Wee Ka Siong who later visited all the rail operators' and vendors' booths. During the launch event, ERL and YTL Power International also exchanged a Memorandum of Agreement on solar energy supply system to provide renewable energy for ERL's operations.

At its booth, ERL showcased the technologies it employs to be at the forefront of the rail industry with a demonstration of electronics testing machine, its KLIA Ekspres app and ticketing system.
